The Spa at Chelsea Piers is located on the 2nd level of Pier 60, inside the Sports Center at Chelsea Piers. The Sports Center, a 150,000-square-foot sports and fitness club, is the ultimate destination for people who enjoy an active life-style. Sports Massage

Whether you're an Ironman or a weekend warrior, massage is a crucial part of your training regimen. This massage focuses on the muscles that are most often used in vigorous sports. Toxins, created by use of the muscle, are trapped in the tissue, and if not flushed out, will hinder your performance. Specific areas of the body are targeted during a session, allowing your body to obtain optimal blood flow for muscle recovery.

Deep Tissue Massage

Firm, and sometimes intense pressure is applied during a deep tissue massage. As a result of your work environment, "bad" habits or postural stance, the body creates lactic acid that crystallizes into adhesions within the muscle. Pregnancy Massage

Once you've entered your 2nd trimester, Moms-to-be need extra TLC. Our Pregnancy Massage focuses on increasing circulation of the extremities as well as addressing upper and lower back issues. If you are a first-time Mom or have child #3 on the way, Pregnancy Massage will help your body adjust to your changing form. As a precaution, be sure to consult your physician before having a massage. Massage will not be performed during 1st trimester.
