Spa services at this location have been widely publicized and admired. Pedicures include the famous Milk & Honey Pedicure, Green Tea Pedicure and of course the Sports Pedicure for tired feet. A good blow dry is the house specialty and it includes a shampoo and conditioning. The staff is highly trained to work with every sort of hair texture. You may prefer to make curly hair straight, or to don a more elaborate style. No matter. The salon does it all - perfectly.

Up Do's

For the latest takes on classic up do's, chignons and twists, the traditional and irreverent alike are assured the most refined and flawlessly executed looks. One-on-One Lessons

Learn how to master the art of the perfect self blow-dry and style in a private one-on-one session with the salon's styling specialist. The lesson will cater to your individual hair texture, type, length and style.

Using ultra-gentle and long-lasting Redken hair products, Joel Warren and his staff are known for their expertise in corrective hair coloring. The color department opens at 7:30 am on Wednesdays and Fridays to accommodate those of you who have to be somewhere early.

Single Process

Whether you're after a subtle, single-processing change or something more dramatic, get a vibrant head of tresses without sacrificing your hair's good condition.

Highlights

Choose from Warren-Tricomi's wide selection of state-of-the-art highlighting techniques. Elect foiling (the process of creating contrast by strategically placing different shades of lightness into the hair), foilage (a combination of foils and painting) or hair painting. These methods produce long-lasting results and add movement, dimension and life to your hair.

Lowlights

Price: $150 and up

Want to tone down some bad highlights or infuse some contrast into your natural color? Using the technique of foiling, lowlights create contrast by darkening hair that is too light - or can be used to fix someone else's mistake.

Baliage

Price: $150 and up

Baliage sounds intimidating, but it's merely a technical term for the freehand paint-like application of highlights or color. With unlimited choices of color, the effect adds creative streaks of color in everything from blonde to copper to pink.

Permanents & Relaxers

Whether you're looking to add volume or take it out, Warren-Tricomi specialists use products that retexturize your hair from the base, while keeping it hydrated.

Conditioning Treatments

Each conditioning treatment is customized for your hair type. Opt for either our protein, moisturizing or strengthening treatments and your hair's health and shine will be boosted and restored. Warren-Tricomi also offers a deep-conditioning treatment, especially recommended for extremely thirsty hair that's been damaged from a chemical process or is just chronically parched.

Corrective Color

Price: $300 and up

This exhaustive process is for those of you that have had a really bad hair day - for several weeks now. Perhaps it was a single visit to a salon that destroyed your hair, or maybe it was several bad consecutive colors. Either way, this is for those of you that need a complete color overhaul.
Lying on the therapist's couch twice a week has its merits, but for a therapy unlike any other, try any (or all!) of these restorative alternatives. Of course, in addition to the treatment itself, you get the nail shape you desire and a buffing or the color of your choice as the finishing touch. With each pedicure lasting an hour and each manicure lasting anywhere from 25 minutes (Paraffin Hand Treatment) to 40 minutes (Thermal Manicure), be prepared to lose yourself.


Thermal Manicure/Pedicure

No plain hot-water soak here. Recommended for fall or winter, Warren-Tricomi's thermal nail treatment for cuticles and nails defies the unseen perils of dryness with a Collagen-rich cream. Hot Gloves are placed on the hands and feet to ensure the thermal penetration of the nourishing ingredients. This restorative treatment helps moisturize cuticles and rehydrate and restore flexibility to dry, brittle nails.

Paraffin Hand Treatment

Using hot paraffin wax, the Paraffin Hand Treatment is an unparalleled procedure for dry, brittle nails and skin beginning to lose its elasticity. The soft wax enables moisture to seep into your skin and nails, supplying much-needed hydration.

Green Tea Pedicure

Ancient Eastern traditions relied on green tea oil to help constrict leg veins, so we Westerners know it can be trusted! The healing, medicinal soak of rainwater and green tea is ideal for legs plagued with rheumatism or arthritis. This special procedure is done in a private room within the salon and begins with a soak in a green tea preparation, while the entire room is filled with the relaxing scent of mint candles and green tea incense. A gentle exfoliating treatment, the green tea pedicure contains natural alpha hydroxy acids and is especially popular in the summer, after a long day of walking. A spritzing of green tea oil completes the treatment to give the feet and legs a golden glow.

Citrus Pedicure

Ideal after a waxing or to provide relief to tired feet, the healing citrus soothes and calms. Recommended for spring or summer, this is the ultimate post-waxing pedicure. It cools and closes pores with refreshing juices and slices of lemon, orange, grapefruit and lime that are blended into a revitalizing hydrotherapy treatment. This natural exfoliating concoction contains natural alpha hydroxy acids and actually kills germs and certain bacteria. A light Olive Oil Mist completes the treatment and gives your feet and legs a lasting lift.

Fresh Flowers

Pedicure For a youthful and healthy just-pinched-your-cheeks flush for the feet, try a treatment for feet in need of soothing as well as a light boost. Rose petals and rosewater come together in this relaxing age-old Roman tradition, recommended for spring or summer. The natural exfoliating powers of the roses' citric acid remove skin the natural way. An intense 30 minutes of reflexology and massage is an integral part of this hour of decompression. You'll be weak in the knees but fully restored when it's time to go.

Milk and Honey Pedicure

Long considered the ultimate luxury among Western European aristocracy, the natural homeopathic qualities of a milk and honey pedicure pamper your tired feet and legs. The whitening agents found in milk lighten up sunspots and freckles and the milk leaves your feet silky-smooth and relaxed. This exfoliating massage ends with a micronized oatmeal application, followed by a natural alpha hydroxy acid-rich sour cream mask.

The Charmed Pedicure

Roxana Pintilie, our nail guru, toils with the spirits for her newest treatment, the Charmed Pedicure. Think "Bewitched" not the Wicked Witch of the West, as only good spells are exercised for soothing your feet and your soul. The preparations are based in calming skin ingredients and healing herbs, and an unusual variety of exotic colored oils and essences relieve ailments that traditional methods just won't cure. Put a few drops of the necessary oil in your potion, fill the room with candles of the same color and watch a little magic happen. Just broke up with you boyfriend? Add a dash of red fir cone oil and marjoram for a stroke of luck. A little cash-strapped this month? A splash of green holy basil and narcissus oil in the fortune blend should help ends meet. Pre-Wedding Day Consultation

Hair
For two hours, visit with a stylist to explore your ideal style. You and the stylist will choose a look for you. If you don't know what you are looking for, we'll help you decide. The price is $300 and Polaroids are taken at the end of the consultation.

Makeup
Also for two hours, a session with a makeup artist will help you feel comfortable, confident and self-assured when you step into your dress for a wedding day of non-stop photo opportunities. We will experiment with colors and application techniques until your makeup is just right. Everything from lighting (are you getting married during the day? at night? in natural light?) to the color of your bridesmaids' dresses will be considered to arrive at a look that's perfectly radiant.. The price is $300 (eyebrows are included) and Polaroids are taken at the end of the consultation.

Nails
An impeccable manicure and/or pedicure that will last through your honeymoon can be done simultaneously with your hair appointment or separately. Manicures start at $30 and pedicures start at $65.

Wedding Day in the Salon
Prices and times are the same as the above.

The fee for hair is $300 and the fee for makeup is $300.

Hair
The fee for a stylist to come to you is $800. Each additional person after the bride is $150. If there are three people or more in the bridal party, an additional $100 will be charged for an assistant fee.

Makeup
The fee for a makeup artist to come to you is $800, which includes a touchup on your eyebrows, if desired.

Nails
Manicures and pedicures are available to the bride at the same time as her hair appointment or they can be done separately. The fee for a manicure and pedicure is $300. Each additional person is $100.

* Round trip to the bride's location, whether by taxi or car service, must be reimbursed to the stylist and makeup artist. If return travel time is over 45 minutes, $300 will be charged to the bride's account. If the bride books for hair and makeup, only one transportation fee will apply.

The key to Warren-Tricomi's overwhelming success is its team of stylists and colorists lead by owners Edward Tricomi and Joel Warren. Its diverse staff comes from all over the world with one thing in common: talent.

Sheer talent isn't all it takes to be on Warren-Tricomi's floor. Training is rigorous with advanced classes in cut and color, but education goes beyond the salon. All trainees are expected to be "on-the-pulse" of current fashion trends, but also knowledgeable about the world at large. Culture in any form is recommended.

All applicants for Warren-Tricomi must be licensed hairdressers committed to education and have a creative vision. The salon mandates classroom training for both stylists and colorists. Classes focus on technique, new product innovations and current trends. Depending on the individual, a trainee could be an assistant for anywhere between 2-4 years before getting his or her own chair at the salon.
