Forbidden Broadway - Special Victims Unit:

Forbidden Broadway is one of New York theatre's mainstays; it's been running on and off for more than 20 years now, providing a constant and usually very reliable barometer of the state of Broadway theatre in general and musicals in particular. It's a revue of parody songs and scenes that satirize Broadway fare past and present. Creator Gerard Alessandrini updates the show all the time, so expect new material about current shows in addition to parodies of Spamalot, The Light in the Piazza, Avenue Q, Wicked, Jersey Boys, Sweeney Todd, The Pajama Game, Julia Roberts, and the Tony Awards.
