Now Playing: The Timekeepers

This is the New York premiere of Dan Clancy's play, The Timekeepers. At Sachsenhausen Concentration Camp in World War II Germany, a Jewish prisoner and a homosexual prisoner are thrown together in dire circumstances. Their wicked sense of humor, vast differences, and passionate love for opera take them to rich, rarely explored territory. The Timekeepers premiered in London in 2001 and has been seen in Tel Aviv, Dublin, and elsewhere.
