Ascension is a new play by Edmund De Santis. It's about an ambitious Catholic priest who is trying to hold together his world and keep his desires at bay. He is confronted by the schizophrenic wife of a butcher who accuses him of sexually abusing her son eight years earlier. De Santis is the author of Making Peter Pope and The Language of Kisses, both published by NYTE.
